The Elements™ Pant Tactical features FR fabric that you need, and the lightweight material that you love, this softshell pant is ready to meet your mountain.
Rugged and comfortable, the Massif® Elements™ Tactical Pant is engineered to provide nonstop performance in tough conditions. The triple-layer softshell fabric features an abrasion-resistant exterior, a soft, fleece-lined interior, and a windproof, water resistant and highly breathable membrane that won't trap moisture. Exceptional stretch and a high warmth-to-weight ratio minimize bulk and maximize your range of motion. Boot zips make for easy donning and doffing over uniforms and lower-leg cargo pockets provide easy access to gear.

Constructed with DuPont™ Nomex® brand fiber - the first flame-resistant fiber selected for use in military uniforms. Nomex fibers carbonize and thicken when exposed to the intense heat of a flash fire, creating a protective barrier that reduces or prevents burn injuries. Black is Authorized by the United States Coast Guard.
  • All fabrics pass the stringent ASTM D6413-F2302 performance specification for flame resistance
  • Approved by NAVAIR
  • Full flame-resistant construction with proprietary Massif® fabrics

*Tip: Length Sizing for Tops

Long Massif tops generally feature an extra 1” of length than a Regular at the bottom hem and an extra 1.5” of sleeve length.

Short tops are generally 1” shorter than a Regular at the bottom hem and 1.5” shorter on the sleeve.

What that means to you: In general, if your sleeves are around your knuckles when your arms are down, or if you are constantly pushing your sleeves up, consider a Short. If you are sitting on your jacket when you sit down, that is also a good time to consider a Short. If your sleeves tend to sit above your wrists when your arms are down, consider a Long. When you raise your arms above your head if your stomach is showing, you should also consider a Long.

Please note: Since body proportions vary from person to person, and it is not unusual for someone to need a different length top than they need in a pants. In other words, if you require a top in Long that does not automatically translate to needing a Long pant.

All measurements are in centimeters. The measurements provided refer to body size, not to garment dimensions. Size up if you are between measurements - or size down if you prefer a tighter fit. Refer to the Measurement Guide for instructions on how to find your measurements.
