Massif's earliest roots for designing comfortable FR gear were planted in the aviation community. Our designers were also on SAR teams and knew what it was like to fly into remote areas in the dead of winter without adequate protection. They needed warm but breathable protection. A jacket that didn't cause them to overheat while sitting on the ground, and still kept them warm when flying with the doors off in the middle of winter. Our products reflect our history and emphasize comfort and functionality specific to aviators.
