Cold/Wet Weather Option: Massif Elements™ insulating softshell fabric features a soft fleece-lined interior, abrasion-resistant exterior, and a waterproof, windproof, and highly breathable membrane. In addition, the Elements balaclava includes a breathable midweight fabric over the nose and ears, and ear ports allow for earbud headphones. Avg. Weight: 4.2 oz./119 g
Cool Weather Option: Massif HotJohns™ fabric is a soft, breathable Nomex® fabric designed to keep you warm and dry on cool and wet days. This stretchy fabric insulates when wet, and wicks sweat away from skin. Avg. Weight: 2.0 oz./57 g
Warm/Hot Weather Option: Massif Cool Knit™ fabric is a unique, lightweight Nomex fabric designed to keep you as cool as possible on warm and hot days. Cool Knit is soft, stretchy, itch free, and wicks sweat away from skin. Avg. Weight: 1.2 oz./34 g
All Massif fabrics pass the stringent ASTM D6413/F2302 standard for flame resistance.
